ABOUT TALLOW: Uniquely compatible to our own skin's biology, tallow is comprised of 50% saturated fat. Our skin's cell membranes are also composed of 50% saturated fat, which makes tallow a nourishing food for our skin. Grass-fed tallow is also loaded with vitamins A, D, E, and K. Prairie Farmapothecary tallow is sourced from small, independent and regenerative farms and beef processors in our local area.
